Now a National Park Service Historic Site, Fort Laramie provided a welcome respite for trappers, missionaries, emigrants and Pony Express riders following the Oregon Trail. Witness the evolution of this strategic frontier outpost from fur trading post to military outpost. Take an interactive, narrated virtual tour through immersive 360 images. Explore 3D reconstructions of the fort in the 1800's and experience 3D laser scans of the fort as it exists today. Videos, photos, maps, drawings, and illustrations let you virtually experience one of the most memorable historic sites in the American West. The Fort Laramie Virtual Tour was created by CyArk in partnership with the National Park Service and the University of Colorado-Denver.
